Admissions Process

Admissions Criteria

In keeping with LCA’s mission of “equipping and nurturing students to fulfill God’s calling on their lives through Christ-centered Education,” LCA considers the following:

  • Families who are growing in their personal Christian walk and involved in their local church. LCA requires that at least one parent be a Christian.
  • Students whose academic records demonstrate proven capability to succeed in our program. Therefore, students’ records will be carefully evaluated prior to acceptance.
  • Students whose recommendations show a behavioral history that is in harmony with the behavioral expectations of LCA.

Admissions Process

After contacting the Admissions Office at or 859-422-5755/859-422-5733 follow these next steps to complete the enrollment process:


Submit your application, supporting documents, and $50 application fee online here. (The online application will include two recommendation forms - Ministry Leader Recommendation and Teacher Recommendation Form.)

Schedule and complete pre-admission testing (PK-12th grade students). An Admissions team member will contact you to schedule a time.

Participate in a family interview. Enrollment decisions are normally communicated within a week of the family’s interview.

Enroll! In order for your child to be officially enrolled, you will be asked to submit a "Statement of Agreement" and "Financial Contract" electronically as well as a non-refundable enrollment deposit.


Christian education is a significant investment. LCA offers the following programs to assist with affordability:

Tuition Assistance: LCA awards more than $800K in need-based financial aid each year. A tuition assistance overview is available here.

E-TIP: The E-TIP program allows families to bank tuition credits by purchasing gift cards for various stores where they already shop. Gift cards are sold at face value with discounts passed on to individual accounts in the form of tuition credit. Learn more here.

Admissions Priority - Priority is given to siblings of LCA students.
